Vacancy 2024 Season

We are seeking an enthusiastic intern to join our team. The role will be split between in clinic work and ambulatory visits. In the clinic you will be assisting with the care of in-patients, carrying out anaesthesia, and assisting with day cases. Time will be spent working alongside our advanced practitioner to build up confidence and skills in all areas of equine work with a emphasis on sport horse and orthopaedic work.

You will be introduced to ambulatory work gradually, with support along the way. This will include attending visits with our other vets and on your own. The ambulatory out of hours rota will again be introduced gradually and will be fully supported. The rota will be shared equally with your other colleagues.

Our internship will ensure after 12 months you are confident in all areas of the BEVA recommended skill set for interns. For the right applicant a long-term role will be available
